As a working father, I greatly appreciate everything my family does to help keep our house clean. When I have days off (and often on my work days) I feel like I have to contribute to helping keep the house clean, so I use Quick cleaning tips for Spring, that really help me (I am going to be sharing them with you today). This allows me to help my family by doing little things like cleaning up the kitchen after dinner so my wife can have a break, or helping with the dishes. I am sure many of you can relate to this.
Working parents (at home or out of the home) feel like they are fighting an uphill battle when it comes to keeping the house clean, especially if you have kids living at home. We have four kids (ages 5-12) and regardless of how many times we tell them to clean up, we still find ourselves tripping over their messes. Even when the dishes are put in the sink (or dishwasher) and the food is put away, the tables and counters are still messy. I used to dread helping clean up the counters and tables, but have recently found an amazing kitchen tool that has made my life so much easier…Scotch-Brite® sponges. They have the Right Tool for Every Surface.
Scotch-Brite® sponges come in two varieties, blue and green. The blue is the Scotch-Brite® Non-Scratch Scrub Sponge. They allow you to clean without scratching. I use them on my non-stick cookware, countertops and even cook tops. The green ones are the Scotch-Brite® Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge. These allow you to clean tough baked-on messes 50% faster. We were able to clean our pan quickly and easily without damage thanks to these sponges. They also work great in the garage and outdoors for a variety of projects and clean ups.
Let me show you some examples of my favorite ways to use these sponges:
As you can see, they are very versatile. I use them not only in my kitchen but also in the bathrooms, on windows and even to clean my BBQ Grill. These Scotch-Brite® sponges are able to save me so much time because I can do so much with them so I am not constantly switching my cleaning supplies. It is also nice because they are easy to store when the job is done.
While you are cleaning up your kitchen be sure to also organize under your sink so you can find your cleaning supplies easily. While I was at Walmart getting my new sponges, I found this great canister style holder in the kitchen section for holding cooking utensils. I think it is perfect to keep our sponges in because it is open and allows them to dry quickly. Getting your kitchen cleaned is easy when you are using Scotch-Brite® Scrub Sponges.
Be sure to take advantage of the great money saving offer through ibotta when you buy Scotch-Brite™ sponges or dish cloths. You can also Enter to win a $20,000 kitchen makeover by entering the Scotch-Brite™ Scrub Sweepstakes. It is really easy and fun. You get to choose if you are #TeamSponge or #TeamDishCloth.

That first pic is SO my kitchen when working on a sponsored recipe blog post. It’s amazing how much more dirty my kitchen is when I have to stop every minute to snap a pic! I guess it’s because I don’t clean as I go along. I also use Scotch-Brite for literally EVERYTHING!
