Salads are not my first choice when I sit down to a meal – but there are some dang good salads out there and it brings a whole new meaning into my “food” vocabulary. Of course I titled this “Healthy” salads or else my Potato Salad would be at the top of the list…mmmm…but this is not the time or the place. This is about Healthy Salad Recipes and I found a bunch, but these are my top choices so far.

OK. I’m back…munching away on my salad. It is super easy to make and one of my favs – so I am going to share what I did with you here. Never mind it is pretty good for you and that it still has everything I like in a “meal” – just all mixed together in a little bowl of yum.
I just made this – it is so easy and taste really good. The apples give it a little sweet and the honey barbecue makes it a little tangy. I love using the TGIFriday’s Honey Barbecue Chicken Tenders for this because there sauce is so good. Just cut up half and apple with a handful of lettuce and add three or four chicken tenders that are cut up and you have a healthy version of what could have been a belly ache after eating all the chicken 😉
